We are recruiting! An exciting vacancy has become available at this key time for Kidz Klub Leeds as we build on the past 18 years of ministry and prepare for the coming 10.
This is a crucial role, driving forward and delivering the fundraising and communications strategy for Kidz Klub Leeds. The post holder will manage our fundraising through a variety of means including: trusts, individuals, churches, events and community groups, as well as working to expand these and find new sources of income. The post holder will be responsible for Kidz Klubs online presence, PR and communications including communications with supporters. The successful applicant will contribute to developing the existing overall fundraising and communications strategies. The successful applicant will work to create new systems, including large donor fundraising, as well as reviewing and keeping up to date Kidz Klub’s publicity literature and will be brought in to work with Kidz Klub’s relationships with churches in Leeds and beyond. The post holder will work closely with the Leadership Team and Office Manager.
Kidz Klub Leeds is a registered charity (1084977) working with 4-11 year olds growing up in poverty in Leeds. Our vision is to work together with congregations and organisations across the city to reach ‘un-churched’ children showing God’s love in word and deed. Our activities include weekly home visits to over 1,400 children during term time, schools work in 34 inner city primary schools, extensive and diverse community work and 5 weekly Kidz Klub Sessions in 4 locations during term time.
Kidz Klub Leeds Fundraising and Communications Officer 37.5 hours per week. Salary £17,072 – £20,661 dependant upon experience and qualifications. Salary could be negotiable for an outstanding candidate. A Pension is offered in line with the Trusts policy. Annual leave 6 weeks/year.
