Every day in the past week we have been celebrating because of the generosity of our supporters and the wider Kidz Klub community. We have had over 140 Christmas hampers and stacks of new toys donated, from churches, businesses and individuals wanting to make a difference to families living in poverty in Leeds this Christmas.
Christmas means GIFT GIVING… and we are VERY happy recipients!
Over 6 weeks we are publishing “18 ways to give to Leeds children”. We have ideas for individuals, churches, corporates and groups of friends to give in all sorts of ways: money, time, prayers, conversations, expertise, baking and much more. It’s our birthday AND it’s Christmas… Can you join us with #18waystogive and #bethedifference for the children of Leeds?
This week: GIFT GIVING
As well as volunteering time, giving money or sharing skills another great way to join us and #BeTheDifference is to give gifts. On top of the hampers and toys, this month we have received donations of sweets, raffle prizes, chocolates, trips, meals out and event tickets. These are the little extras that help us go the extra mile for families.
We also need items that help us be more efficient and effective as an organisation. In the past year we have gratefully received office equipment.
So… if you are a real gift giver, why not add Kidz Klub to your Christmas list! We are always on the look out for sweets and chocolate, prize-worthy toys and trips to exciting places, but watch this space for our Amazon Wishlist with some important infrastructure items like: ipads, mobile phones and IT equipment that will enable excellence and efficiency at Kidz Klub.

Finally, just a reminder that this year Kidz Klub Leeds has restructured to reach more families, go deeper with children and transform more lives. Let’s talk numbers… It will cost us an additional £60,000 per year to reach 1,000 children across the city and help transform their life chances, bring them the hope of Jesus and work alongside their families and communities.
£60,000 is only £5 per month, per child we help. We need 1,000 people to give £5 per month.
