Past Fundraisers

Below are some past fundraisers that our supporters have organised and participated in.  We are hugely grateful for all the ways people choose to support us.  We hope these stories inspire you! If you would like to have a go at organising your own fundraiser get in touch with us for ideas and help!

Kidz Klub Cycles

Kidz Klub has gone cycling crazy!  There are bicycles mounting at Kidz Klub activities!  The Kidz Klub fundraising bike rides are partly to blame:

In 2010 the Kidz Klub cycling team rode from Frontline Church Liverpool (the home of Kidz Klub Liverpool) to Bridge Street Church Leeds (the home of the Kidz Klub Leeds office) along the Liverpool-Leeds canal… in one day!

In 2012 the cycling team rode from Hyde Park Leeds to Hyde Park London in two days – a massive achievement!bike ride 2012 (b)

In 2014 Kidz Klub was joined by Leeds Faith in Schools and Transformations Leeds to organise Le Grand Ride Out.  To celebrate Le Tour de France coming to Yorkshire in 2014 over 40 cyclists rode the first stage of Le Grand Départ, 120 miles from Leeds to Harrogate, through the Yorkshire Dales in one day!!

Over these events the team have raised over £12000 for Kidz Klub Leeds.  AMAZING!

Keep your eyes peeled for another Kidz Klub bike ride coming soon…

Leeds 10K + half-marathons

Over the years several of our supporters have signed themselves up for various running events and challenges.  Raising hundreds of pounds for Kidz Klub.  Next year, events in Leeds include: Leeds 10K, Sunday 10th July 2016 and Leeds Half Marathon, Sunday 8th May 2016 sign up here:

London Marathon + Mount Fuji

Two of our Trustees have set themselves extremely impressive challenges and raised thousands of pounds for Kidz Klub Leeds in the process.  Steve, chose to run the London Marathon, a whooping 26.3 miles in April 2014, while Linda summited Mount Fuji having walked all through the night in July 2015.  Both were lifelong dreams and ambitions.

Walk the Wharf

A rambling rambunctious troupe of hill walkers, gathered and herded by the fundraising group George Tortoise, walked a large and beautiful section of the River Wharfe over four days.  The group completed the walk in October 2012 and raised £3,000!

Coffee O’Clock

Kidz Klub supporters all over the UK hosted coffee get-togethers in aid of Kidz Klub.  Supporters simply brewed coffee, served cakes and put out information sent to them by the Kidz Klub office team.  The event raised over £1,000!  (And counting!  With a recent associated Fish and Chip event in Sutton Coldfield!)

Let us know if you would like to host a Coffee O’Clock event for Kidz Klub!
