Last year, Tyler Adams - USA captain and ex-Leeds United footballer - and his wonderful partner Sarah, got in touch with us to see how they could support children in their local community. We were delighted to welcome them onto our volunteer team to take part in our Central Club on Monday nights.

Tyler was an instant hit with the kids and spent time getting to know them individually as he and Sarah got stuck in with all aspects of being on team! It was so encouraging for the children to have such a fantastic and humble role model. Unfortunately, Tyler transferred to Bournemouth shortly after, but he and Sarah continue to be involved from afar.

Of course, you don't need to be a professional footballer to make a difference in a child's life! We have people from all walks of life, and all ages - from 11 to 84 years old - this intergenerational team helps children connect and build relationship with people they may otherwise not encounter.

Could you help change a child's life by giving just a small amount of time?

Spending an hour or two a week in term time having fun with children might not seem like much to you, but to children it can make all the difference.

Our Hub Klubs, visiting rounds and Central Klub are looking for volunteers to help for between 1-4 hours weekly. We also need help behind the scenes with set up and down of activities, office admin, craft making and on our fundraising team.

Could you join them? Or encourage a friend who would be wonderful?

There are so many ways to get involved with Kidz Klub too - find out more below
