Many of the Kidz Klub children want to stay on and become young leaders once they reach high school.

We try to support as many of them to do this as possible, and have a full leadership development programme which they can access. This increases their confidence and self-esteem and provides an opportunity to contribute positively to their communities. 

Through the program we equip our young leaders to be community changers and fantastic role models for other children and as they move through the years at High School.  The programme gives and helps the young people recognise the invaluable skills they are gaining through volunteering, e.g. teamwork, leadership, decision making, work ethic, negotiation and communication skills. We encourage them to collect examples from their work as a young leader in their portfolio each week, which they can then take to college and job interviews.
